Starting Sunday, October 2nd, Fusion will be meeting in the Elevate Warehouse at Crossroads' North Campus (directly across the parking lot from the main Worship Center; Warehouse all the way in the back). We're excited to have more room to grow!! See you there!
Fusion - the combining of two distinct elements into one.
We desire to purposefully and thoughtfully fuse authentic, Christ-centered faith, with the day to day questions and issues of real life in our culture. Often we hold the two a safe distance apart and keep our faith clean and ironed for Sunday mornings while we live life in the grime of the real world the other six days of the week.
We believe the Bible has everything we need to know for salvation and godliness. This means we trust that God has an opinion about what goes on in his world. We believe he helps us know and understand his opinions through his Word, his Spirit, and through the accountability and community of the local church.
That's why we focus on four key elements:
1) Teaching - studying God's revealed Word is the starting point for knowing God and learning to discern the leading of his Spirit (II Peter 1). We participate in the Crossroads Small Group curriculum which consists of study questions related to the week's sermon passage.
2) Worship - responding in humble worship to God's self revelation is the appropriate response to encountering his majesty and glory (Isaiah 6). We participate in weekly worship through singing, prayer, accountability, and exhortation.
3) Discussion - sharing perspectives and pursuing biblical unity in understanding helps us discern truth and spur one another on towards love and good deeds (Hebrews 10). We strive to make every Fusion gathering a time to discuss different points of view or interpretation with the absolute truth of God's word as the guide.
4) Community - authentic relationship and community provide an environment for growth, accountability, and support (Acts 2). Through consistent time spent together, and small group environments, we try to create and cultivate authentic biblical relationships with each other at every Fusion gathering.
There is no Fusion on 5th Sundays.
